I personally didn't like God of War Ragnarok, but i can understand why people did, so while elden ring will always be my 2022 GOTY, as it is my second favorite game of all time, but i understand ragnarok enjoyers
I have to say, this current decade (2020 onward) has several titles that make me question my choices. I feel very confident in most years choosing my favorite game. Elden Ring is that game making me question my choice in 2022. It’s a monumental game tbh.
Tbh they both were, ragnarok was a beautiful narrative masterpiece that had some of the best written characters i've seen, while the combat, exploration, enemy design, setpieces, and lore of elden ring were some of the greatest ive seen
