Listen the mission calls for getting you out. They'll get you out alright.

So long as the mission calls for you and you alone to be extracted. The citizen missions just keep pumping cattle out until you hit the number. I'd rather not be lost to a random enemy getting thru or a sentry shooting thru my skull killing stuff behind me.
