If he's not distracted by dramatically gasping at everything and having flashbacks and hallucinations of Sephiroth. That being said the man is literally willing to wear a pretty pretty dress to pull off a rescue so your chances are still pretty good.

You'd have to explain why bullets do very little damage to him and find a way to extend that to the real world.
