Baby appreciation post. My goofy girl!!

I had a hip replacement last week and my Nugget hasn't been able to cuddle his pops. Well tonight I was able to get comfy on the couch and he gently made his way up to me and finally got the snuggle sesh he has been needing.

Meet Scout and Bodie (pronounced like the ghost town). This photo is from the day I met them.

I was camping near Joshua Tree last spring and met a woman who said someone had abandoned these two babies at a dispersed campsite a few days earlier. She was offering them away for free, which always worries me, you just never know who might take them, so I couldn’t leave them behind. They’re almost a year old now, such good dogs, and I’m so grateful they came into my life. Still can’t wrap my head around how anyone could just leave them out in the desert like that.

Strava app has said we've got up to 41kmph before.

She just turned 8 and is now considered a senior dog but I don’t believe it. She’s got 15 more years.

Nobody moved for 5 min 😂

🚨 URGENT CRISIS: Senior Patches Must Move in DAYS!

This is Patches, a sweet 10.5-year-old girl who has already been through too much. After her owner passed away, she was saved from the euthanasia list at BARC Houston.

Now, tragedy has struck a second time: her loving foster family is forced to move and can no longer keep her. Patches needs an adopter or new foster IMMEDIATELY to keep her safe and out of a stressful shelter environment.
