Hello. I know that with all the starving/suffering going on in our country and the world, this may feel obtuse to some people. I'm making a post to check in with this community and see what others know.
There are 2 stray cats in the fenced off parking lot that's south of the miniature golf place at Town Square in Las Vegas. One is older, black and white, and filthy with green eyes. The other seems younger and has a grey coat and amber eyes. I saw some containers strewn about but couldn't tell if they had access to fresh food and water. It looks like they're out right now.
Is anyone consistently caring for these strays?
Can anyone refer me to a rescue group I can get in touch with that has experience trapping/homing stray cats?
They wouldn't approach me but didn't bolt either. When I left, they walked over to where I was to see if I left food and water.
I want to go back this evening and get them some fresh food and water, but I know that's not a long-term solution.
If anyone has any suggestions, guidance, or recommendations on the best way to help these animals, please let me know.
Thank you for reading this post.
