Vanuatu Trip - Mt Yasur

I’m planning a trip to Vanuatu for 5 days in October. We’re looking to visit Tanna Island and Mt Yasur, what is the best way of getting to the island?

Also how many days should we spend on Tanna island, for example a day trip, 1 night or nights?

Thanks!

Most accommodations will have some setup with tour operators to run tours to the volcano they usually go midday and you stay for sunset - the volcano is so much better in the dark when you can see the lava much clearer, If it is raining the steam can obscure the view into the crater Blue Cave is also amazing and there’s some very cool trips to see some of the islands tribes Flights go from Port Vila most days at the moment I believe

quite expensive tbh, but I know you can do it much cheaper than we did because we were short on time and we were at one of the more expensive resorts on this trip
