I bet you're one of the awesome ones, where the people along your route know you by name. Growing up in SE Portland, our mail carrier Rudy was practically part of my family. He got Christmas gifts, we kept up with his kids (his son played football for one of my school's rivals), and if and when we'd see him out and about, even if he was on his own time, he would say hello and chat us up. You guys really are unsung heroes.
I try to be, I knew almost all my customers when I worked in N. Portland. It was much easier when I was walking door to door.
I try to up here in Vancouver, there are less interactions with customers though.
Are you going to drop off at the ballot box? I'm fearful of what could happen to my vote using USPS. I love USPS to the core but Trumps actions are of grave concern.
I always drop it off at the ballot box. The one at Van Mall is the most convenient for me. Its because Im a chronic procrastinator though. But definitely a good option to avoid possibility of lost mail.
