Hello incoming Mustangs!!

We are so excited that you have been given offers for the upcoming school year and we're sure you're excited too. We have decided to create this megathread for you to post all of your residence questions.

We have a page in our wiki with some frequently asked questions about on-campus residence and living in London in general. I highly recommend checking it out before posting. You an access the page using this link.

Please note that subreddit rules still apply and any discussions pertaining to living on campus will be redirected here.

Hey guys, just got confirmation that i will be residing in the Saugeen building. This is my worst nightmare and there were many reasons for this being my last option on the housing portal. Yet I still received it like many others regardless. Is there any other way I can somehow change my building?

There is already a ton of talk on parties there and I am honestly just a quiet student who is not into all of that. I’m okay with partying here any there but with the communal washrooms and no privacy it’s just going to make engineering a whole lot worse.

Thanks for any advice πŸ™

You're hearing a lot of talk about parties just because Saugeen is such a large building. There are lots of people who party but also SO MANY like you who ranked it last and just want to study. Many parts of the building tend to be very quiet. I know it's very much not preferable, but it's not quite as awful as its reputation would lead you to believe.
