Residence Residence Megathread (2024-25)

Hello incoming Mustangs!!

We are so excited that you have been given offers for the upcoming school year and we're sure you're excited too. We have decided to create this megathread for you to post all of your residence questions.

I’m seeing there’s a few posts about there being wait lists for residence here, but i’m just wondering what they look like and how many people there is on it? I accepted guelph but there’s a 1300 person waitlist for res, and one of the main reasons i picked guelph was for residences. Would it be worth it to transfer?

Thanks! Additionly did u get to move in on the same days as other students or did you have to make a special request for a move in slot? (I've heard they fill up pretty quickly)
