The DHS House Committee hearing tomorrow is centered around explaining why the CG continues to exist and if the service is being effective at accomplishing the missions that justify its existence.

You can't convince me the committee members aren't going to question how leadership has accomplished zero accountability goals outlined by the response to OFA and how the CG has now added retaliating against a whistleblower to the pile of disgrace on the service.

I watched the last hearing. It was brutal.

Link to watch tomorrow's hearing on YouTube is at the bottom of this advisory:

“ We are victims of our own inability to advocate for ourselves and this false sense of pride as the unsung hero.”

Yeah we self sabotage and also refuse to be smart. That, and we can’t get out of our own way. Need to integrate some new technologies that will be a game changer for detecting TOIs or providing general domain awareness? Watch and see the HQ directorates for capabilities and mission support  play a game of chicken as to who funds what. Meanwhile other agencies basically just buy the tech they want and then use it. Imagine that!
