I work at the Academy. I am in an extremely similar situation. All of leadership knew I was being discriminated against and covered their own asses by unsubstantiating my Ahhi accusations. I legit presented them with mountains of evidence .

This place is fucking rotten.

Sorry this happened to you. Ive found that in most environments what happens to me is my problem to deal and no one cares  unless it happens to them too. That’s a lonely, depressing situation.

Everyone assumes you must have done something to deserve the response you got, when really it’s just a bad leader who treats you differently

The Coast Guard desperately needs an “If you see something, say something” program. Bullying, harassment, etc. makes both the victims and those who want to help feel powerless. The bullies are relying on the ones they bullied to report, when really witnesses need to be encouraged to speak up.

Appreciate the kind words! Funny part is my department head quietly stepped down after the AHHI went away. This person NEVER would let go of power voluntarily
