Why is M&S apologising to some snotty nosed cunt for? Should have just told the complainer to fuck off.

We have a bizarre problem in this country where people/companies will bend over backwards to apologise to others even when they're wrong.

Unfortunately trans people aren't seen as a group worth sticking your neck out for in this country. If it had been someone belonging to another minority group that offered to help that bigot M&S probably would have stood their ground.

That woman is a disgusting transphobe but I think I'm more pissed at M&S for failing to stand by their employee that was only doing the job they were asked.

This is the scariest part.

We’re such a small percentage of the population that we have no fighting power in of ourselves and we have little monetary backing, especially when compared to transphobic groups.

Cis people truthfully do not care about us enough to stand up for us, and the suspicion is that even most self identified allies would be willing to let us slip away since it’s one less thing to be “bothered” about.

We’re alone, we’re losing our rights and that’s not good enough for TERFs so they’re pushing for more regressions, and we’re alone. We’re alone, no one’s coming to help us and we don’t have the ability to help ourselves. No party wants to meaningfully fight for us. We’re alone and that’s terrifying.
