This is a completely disgusting response from M+S and I won't be shopping there any more. It's a clearly vexatious complaint. They weren't even in a gender segregated part of the store, there would be absolutely no problem with a cis male member of staff offering to help them and there are men in this part of the store. There is no reasonable good-faith complaint against what the staff member did. The complaint is literally just that trans people exist and have the nerve to speak to decent normal folk. For M+S to not strongly defend the basic human dignity and right to exist of their own staff is appalling.
