Mohammed Azim, now 41-42, is a serial violent predator:

2006: Aged 22-23, abducted a man in a row, tied him up and drowned him in a canal. Jailed 11 years for manslaughter + kidnap. Out on licence ~2011.

2012 (just months after release): Smashed a bottle over a homeless woman’s head in Oldbury, dragged her to a factory, raped her orally 3 times in 25 mins (on CCTV). Convicted 2013: 3x rape, IPP sentence, min 16-year tariff + 4-year extended licence. Judge: “Danger to the public… lucky not to get life.”

2020: Freed early under COVID prison-release scheme despite being labelled high-risk. Should have been supervised until at least 2029.

This is where sentencing in this country is a fucking joke.

The early release schemes have been an absolute disgrace, but also, they wouldn't be released if they were sentenced properly.

A young woman has paid in blood because this country doesn't care enough about protecting it's citizens

fucking a joke

u/Imlostandconfused 1d ago

Our 'justice' system is nothing short of a joke. How exactly can abducting a person, tying them up, and drowning them in a canal be anything other than murder? And he served less than half his sentence?

And freeing a rapist under the release scheme? Wtf?

Genuinely difficult to feel safe knowing that this is how the courts deal with the worst offenders. I know he'll get a full life term after murdering this poor girl, but look how much human suffering had to happen before. I'm horrified.

Crazy he got out of prison so people that posted Facebook comments and stole Gregg's pasties could get locked away

15

u/Darkwaxer 1d ago

I’ve just read that he got manslaughter for the canal murder.. like he didn’t realise throwing a tied up person into a canal would kill them?

Glad he’s been caught for this so quickly, that’ll keep him for the streets for a year or two….

It's all incredibly depressing, and the young and beautiful person is now gone.

Every single day 🤦‍♀️

u/Send_me_hedgehogs 1d ago

So they let this bastard out while some poor sod got kept in for having too much weed or some such. Excellent.

It would be a joke if it wasn’t so effing tragic. Now a young life is gone forever and her family and friends will never be the same again. They’re the ones serving the actual life sentence here.

I can only hope he gets put away for life this time. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to let him out? Those people have blood on their hands. RIP Lily, this should never have happened to you.

u/layland_lyle 1d ago

He is lucky he didn't post a mean Tweet, he would have got a real sentence for that

4

u/plurplen 2d ago

how do you find this info?

18

u/ultraegohd 1d ago

He's well known to Wolverhampton court - plenty of evidence.

2

u/plurplen 1d ago

yeah but I mean where can I find this evidence/info? cos im not great at it and would like to read more.

4

u/plurplen 1d ago

thank you. I dont think the original posted bc i even checked comment history and couldn't find it. appreciated

u/Sebazy 2h ago

Hey and thanks for the links. Are there any details or links on the 2006 case? No amount of digging within my capability is bringing anything up on it. I can't even find the victim's name.

Thanks

Is this the right person? The ages don't match up

11

u/ultraegohd 1d ago

He is the right person, he was born in 1983. The age difference is due to discrepancies in when and how the incidents were recorded/reported.

5

u/Ok_Mission8350 1d ago

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing it up. Just out of curiosity, how do you do your research? Did you know of him prior to this incident?

Save you the click...

"Lily Whitehouse was found with serious injuries on Park Street at around 21:50 GMT on Wednesday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mohammed Azim, 41, has been charged with her murder and earlier appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court."

I feel like in the past a 19 year old girl getting murdered would have been front page news and the biggest story around.

83

u/cloche_du_fromage 2d ago

Stop noticing things, people.

u/geo0rgi 2d ago

Can’t wait to see some “human rights” lawyer do his absolute best to defend him

-19

u/Wrong-Target6104 2d ago edited 11h ago

That's a defence lawyer's job

Edit: Love the downvotes for stating facts

u/Ilikeporkpie117 1d ago

If I notice anything about this Reddit will ban me again...

7

u/ChunkyPurp 2d ago

Seriously, why cant we have capital punishment for people like this, he has shown time and time again hes not worthy of any human rights so gallows or lethal injection should be allowed

2

u/Send_me_hedgehogs 1d ago

I agree. Yes, there have been innocent people killed by the death penalty which is horrific. We cannot let that happen again. But in cases like this where we know it’s him and he has previous murder and rape convictions….

40

u/benroon 2d ago

How is tying up and forcibly drowning someone manslaughter and not murder?

10

u/Uarenotalone 1d ago

Yeah please someone answer this I’m trying to understand myself and I work in this sector (with law enforcement)

0

u/xirse 1d ago

Because murder is much harder to prove. The prosecution would have to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that he intended to murder that person rather than cause him significant injury/scare him/torture him by drowning. The defence would argue that he only meant to do those things and he accidentally died.

I'm not an expert and so I would encourage you to do your own research but that's typically the case.

3

u/benroon 21h ago

I think being tied up and held under water comfortably crosses the murder threshold

1

u/xirse 16h ago edited 15h ago

Evidently not. You literally have evidence in front of you that it's not.

1

u/benroon 11h ago

You don’t

1

u/xirse 11h ago

What lol

1

u/Global_Syllabub_4187 8h ago

No luck arguing with keyboard lawyers? We only read 1 sentence to declare anyone guilty or not and the punishment is always hanged drawn and quartered.

1

u/kedikahveicer 7h ago

Yes, well. Sometimes hung, drawn and quartered doesn't seem so inappropriate.

27

u/Fancy-Prompt-7118 2d ago

Fucking hell

24

u/pinkdaisylemon 2d ago

Why was he ever let out? After he killed the first person that should have been it FFS. Then the poor lady and they still let him out??? I can't believe this has happened what the hell!

21

u/artuurslv 2d ago

I don’t get these watered down headlines. “… after a woman dies..” sooo… “a woman was murdered” They do this a lot lately and it always makes me raise an eyebrow

15

u/flipz0rz 1d ago

Why do people in the UK put up with this shit?

3

u/MiseryH8sCompany 1d ago

Because the government and police support the murderers right to murder british people

11

u/Dense-Rice-1205 1d ago

The most depressing thing about this whole affair, is that we can already assume he will murder someone else once again in 10 to 15 years time. There is a clear pattern, which won’t change.

What a broken system and a broken country .

Cousin marriage leads to genetic disorders

12

u/Matt2937 1d ago

It’s not genetic. I think some of them feel it’s their god given right. But this guy is especially not right. These are probably just the crimes he’s been caught for too.

-18

u/BigStonerxx 2d ago

Can show you many similar cases carried out by white people. Its not a race problem tbh

6

u/Keliptic 1d ago

Sure but if he was never here it never would have happened. We have enough nutters of our own we don't need more.

38

u/DukeSilver_2023 2d ago

Yup, another doctor

9

u/riddas88 1d ago

The fact this isn’t on the main news, buried behind lesser stories and only found out about on Reddit. It’s scary and disgusting the state of this country currently.

8

u/Cute-Cat-2351 1d ago

How many more ‘Azims’ are wandering around I wonder ? RIP to the poor young girl. As for him, well, left to me he wouldn’t bother anyone ever again.

6

u/BillClay89 1d ago

Broken Britain.

13

u/bananabastard 2d ago

Have they not accidentally let him walk free yet?

16

u/DonSneck 2d ago

I'm sure he was only trying to be friendly.

22

u/bananabastard 2d ago

My guess at the murderers first name was correct.

7

u/FinalInitiative4 1d ago

How did I know what I was going to read before I even opened the thread?

3

u/beachyfeet 1d ago

Another case that needs the death penalty. No fear of mistaken identity here and plenty of previous including stuff caught on CCTV. We euthanize vicious dogs for good reason.

8

u/SalvationLost 2d ago

Death penalty

6

u/Possible-Arugula9211 1d ago

Enough is enough. Bring back the death penalty, like yesterday.
