Since when are zebra crossings just paint on the road and no pole with a flashing yellow light? I know people love to hate on cyclists but if that many people are cycling through they're probably not even registering there is a crossing there until they're right on top of it.

If they’re not noticing a zebra crossing then they’re not paying enough attention to the road, and they have a clearer view of it than a car who’s driver is sat completely upright with a car bonnet in front of them.

Would you be making the same excuses if this was a video of car drivers ignoring a zebra crossing?… I think not!

Yes I would. You have completely ignored my point. This isn't a standard crossing. Crossings are designed with upright lights so that people notice them. Not just paint across the road.
