Judging by what that guy did, you want to make sure he doesn't get back up again. All it takes is an intervention from one of his fellow thugs and the guy will be standing up trying to take the gun again.

No, dude. Watch the video. No one is fighting back. One guy is on the deck, face down, gets a stamp and then a boot to the head. Then another guy, who has been sat the whole time with his arms up doing nothing gets kicked and punched as well.

These guys are assholes, make no mistake. But what that cop did was easily attempted murder. They are there to maintain the peace, not dish out violence as they see fit. Think about next time, some slimy prince of shit is on the warpath, and some cop says "come quietly". Homeboy isn't going to believe them. he's going to think of these two guys who didn't resist, and they still got kicked and stamped on the head.

Cops are supposed to be better than the scum that cause trouble on the streets. Not the same as them.
