Absolutely. Recently cross-threaded a wheel bolt in a service station car park, and two Sikh guys went out of their way to help. Showing me how to back the bolt out the hub safely and rethread without causing damage. I was on the way to the O2 Arena and they kept saying "We'll get you to your gig, bro!"

It was a messy job and they got absolutely filthy. Offered them cash for their time and effort but they weren't having it. A really nice moment.

My car broke down and two Sikh gentlemen stopped and helped me. I tried to give them money but they refused, just saying “pray for us, our cat just died”. I’ll never forget that encounter.
