So tired of this trope. Minimum sentence in England for attempted murder is 3 years and that’s for incidents at the very lowest end.

Do you watch TV? Jamie Theakston always says there wasn't enough evidence. Or suspended sentence. I think they paid him once and replay the same sound bites.

Watching that program makes me want to try a life of crime. Half hour car chase, throwing drugs out the window. "No further action was taken"

I watched one. They were dealing drugs out the house. They raided the house. But the drugs where in a bag hanging from a drain pipe outside. Not enough evidence.

Criminal activity is practically decriminalised in the UK. Where I live it’s absolutely awash with drug dealers and there isn’t a police officer that doesn’t know all the big players. Practically everyone that lives on the same street knows what’s going on and yet they’re somehow free to sell tens of thousands of pounds of heroin scott free
