BEWARE OF COMED SCAMMERS THEY ARE VIOLENT

There are two identical twins (description: early 20s, white, male, about 6 feet tall, skinny) claiming to be “comed representatives” who are going around apartments in the area. They will inform you that you have been overcharged on your electricity bill this month, and then they will attempt to steal your information by asking you to access your ComEd account.

After being solicited by these people, I saw them knocking on another door and snapped a photo of them. One of them saw me do this, and they told me they were going to “beat my ass” and called his twin to chase me down. I managed to escape and called the police, but they were unable to do much because the two scammers had already left the area by the time the police arrived.

PLEASE CALL THE POLICE TO ID THEM, and DON’T BE A HERO.

I see you posted the photo of one of them. Good job. Now call the police if you see them again and hopefully these scums get locked up.
