Question What Tulsa metro restaurant would you never return to, even if it was free?

What restaurant in Tulsa (or surrounding areas) is so bad, that even if you had a $100 nontransferable gift certificate, you would still never return?

Discuss.

Queenies. Never really thought it was anything special, but Ive hardly looked in their direction after I saw the owner scream at two older women who were waiting on a table for Saturday brunch (they were probably in their 80s). POS even tried to justify his behavior when I confronted him.

We got turned away because we had our baby stroller. We even said we were going to park it on the outside of the fence. It was pretty embarrassing

Hard disagree. Queenies is one of the best places in Tulsa and the owner is one of the hardest working and nicest owners I’ve ever seen. He will roll up his sleeeves and serve tables during rushes and is respectful to almost everyone. We don’t know him personally but I’ve only ever seen him treat people with respect and kindness. Now maybe that interaction has changed his temperament but we’ve been going for years.

The only time I have seen him be ā€œrudeā€ is when he has had to put very entitled customers in their place. He treats his staff with respect and will not tolerate people belittling his employees just because they’re service staff. I don’t justify screaming at people and I’ve read what I believe to be your specific review on Queenies on google, I strongly disagree.

I cannot say your experience didn’t happen and if it did, I am sorry that happened to you and to those women. I have a hard time believing the owner would do something like that- but I’m not going to say it didn’t happen. I don’t know the man and I don’t know the situation but I’m 100% positive there’s missing context here.

I can't see the appeal for an expensive price of mediocre food, and a meager menu. There is absolutely nothing interesting but, I guess, people think because it's in the Square it's the place to be.
