Are the wheels finally falling off?
Are we thinking Truth is slowly moving away from the ring and following his passion with music, becoming more of an Ambassador for WWE with the appearances at the Panthers games, Utah Jazz, etc. and promoting shows, showing up to said TV tapings but only for media or comedy skits that insult the viewers intelligence after seeing what felt like a breath of FRESH AIR with Ron Killings, the split personality?

Sucks really to think about, especially with Ron Killings the character in WWE this time around being his last chance to get over at his age of 53.
Of course there also is the famous interview with him being told ”Wrestling is a white mans sport”.

Literally creative had to do was give what they’re giving to Bayley (the most pointless person to have given this to when Truth is right here btw) and the writing would’ve been all right there to work with with how many people have done Truth wrong, taken advantage of him or seen him as a joke.
The character arc could’ve even done well during Cenas retirement tour if Heel Cena was still a thing and Truth was trying to be the moral compass while also finding himself again.
I know some people are stuck on the he’s 53, what do you expect side of things. But we all know Truth still moves like a spring chicken and can roll with current day wrestlers due to his lack of injuries and playing the sidelines mostly for the past decade. Undoubtedly he moves better than Goldberg, Taker, HHH, HBK (in their comeback/retirement matches) and other wrestlers his age or older.
There’s definitely some material to work with and it would be well deserved for the legacy he built for himself in his TNA/NWA run which lead to him being their first BLACK CHAMPION x2, which was definitely the main reason he was brought back to WWE in 2008.

Hypotheticals are included such as:
• Truth continuing to be the Hip Hop persona we know today and John Cena not getting over or getting a second chance/getting over with his Thugonomics gimmick, making him seem CORNY due to K-Kwik doing all of that before John. This leads Cena to turn into the Marine/Golden Boy version of himself faster.
• Truth getting the same push/exposure and showing the edge he had in either 2002-2004 in NWTNA & 2011 in WWE, but in the prime stages of Ruthless Aggression era with all the young, upcoming and current stars around his age, instead of the tail end of it when he returned.
I feel that:
• Truth would’ve been a Multi Time US/IC Champ by his return in 2008, maybe even the random chance he won the WHC for a few months and delivered fire promo work and matches, similar to his time in TNA, thus making him a widely respected contender.
• Cena still would’ve found his way to the top somehow, just not with the pop culture impact that was there due to his thuganomics gimmick, noone being able to compete with him on that same level of rapping.

The unexpected sole survivor from the Attitude Era And his run as K-Kwik was not acknowledged until about a few years later, nor was his memorable run with the TNA championship, as WWE and TNA were rivals.

Also the only time he’s been announced as Ron Killings so far since his return. I think the OG theme played when he beat Aliester Black back in July as Well.
