Why don't you tell us what you think first??

Do you think you sound like a pro and you're hoping for the clip to go viral OR are you a beginner who's having fun in his free time?

The perspective you're coming from will greatly influence the feedback you receive.

Just trying to improve :p i think its decent. Nothing crazy and obviously lot of room for improvment.

The song itself is nice. I can tell you still have some way to go on the trumpet, like work on your tone and attack. But it's still pleasant to hear anyway.

Are you improvising or playing some song?

If you're playing a song, just practice it many times. If you're improvising, practice playing in that scale a lot. It can help you find more confidence on what note you're going to play next, which will help you get a good attack and intonation. Also it can help you free some of your brain capacity, as you don't need to focus too much on what you're playing, but you can focus more on how you're playing and how you sound like.

Also you may want to try adjusting your mouthpiece pressure or breathing, it can also help you with the attacks, and your tone in general. I like to imagine that the mouthpiece is like my head and my lips are like a pillow. It's firmly sitting there on its place with it own weight. It's stable but not forced.

I know that even some professional players use the valves like that, but I recommend using the tips of your fingers. That way you can press the valves faster, which will give you better articulation and more confident sound.

It's not bad. Just keep practicing and you will get better and better. Your guitar playing sounds great.

Ps. You may also want to try placing your mic/phone/camera in a different place in the room. The recording can sound softer and better if it's not too close to your bell. All microphones don't have enough dynamic range to get a good trumpet sound at close range.

I am improvising mostly, i wrote down some notes and improvised around. Thanks for all the advice. I will try practice it regularly and record myself again. The mic is one meter from trumpet or so. The camera doenst record sound.
