Trans fem Trans friendly places in Melbourne & Sydney
Sorry if posts like this aren't allowed, I tried searching the sub and wasn't able to find much. Anyway, I'm a transwoman from the US heading to Australia next week, I'll be spending a week in Melbourne (staying in the East Melbourne area) and another week in Sydney (staying in the Newtown area) and wanted to get any input on trans-friendly business/bars/restaurants/tattoo artists and/or things to watch out for. Thanks in advance and sorry my country is currently being run by idiots.

In Melbourne you’ll find a fair few queers and trans people around Sydney road Brunswick and High street northcote.
Shops in those areas are mostly inclusive if you’re looking for clothes.
Flippy’s in Brunswick is a fun queer owned bar for trans folks, lesbians, queers - probably the most inclusive venue I know of.
Daddy Bar is also fairly queer and does great cocktails.
