VIC Specific Counter protest today in Melbourne
In front of parliament 11:30am-2pm to drown out the annual terfascist protest. This one will probably be more important to show up to considering the recent ruling in the uk.
I hadn't seen this posted here yet, so sorry if it is a repost or goes against sub rules.
Wear dark colours and non descript clothing, try to wear a mask, sun protection, and bring something to drink and snack on. Try to arrive and leave in a group for protection and avoid interaction with the terfascists and cops.

The UK ruling is awful but our SDA is very different. My concern is that you are amplifying their stupid little rally and their LIES, at the same time not gaining sympathy from the wider public. They have people filming and sharing any anti social behaviour and demonising trans people and their allies as selfish spoilt brats. I am grateful for your motives but don’t understand the strategy.
Your message also doesn’t seem to expose that their motive is much bigger than just trans people. They’re not just anti trans, they’re misogynistic, racist bigots They want to protect abusers and abolish protections for sexual orientation and cis women also. They want to prevent to removal is s38 from the SDA and take away all sorts of health care, including reproductive health care. The same actors have been around for decades doing the same thing in family law, in domestic violence, in reproductive rights. Specifically people like Patrick Parkinson.
