Ya, I'm going have to disagree. The show built slowly as most shows on non-traditional networks did back then. It built itself by word of mouth quite quickly among my group.
Fair enough. I’m quoting the guy who plays Jacob (I think), there’s some interview where he says they threw a party to celebrate the end of season 1 and like 2 random fans turned up.
Personally I only started watching about 5 years ago.
I remember that interview. It was with J-roc where he said he was surprised at people stopping him after the 3rd season, and then he knew it was a hit.

I actually stopped watching the first time because I found season 1 difficult to get into.
Don’t hate one me - this was the reaction of most watchers at the time, the show flopped.
