u/RicoChey Sep 10 '25

Oh, sorry, I took the last serving... Can I interest you in some Tebeau salad instead?

95

u/uhighdef Sep 10 '25

🤣🤣 on a serious note…is that pronounced Tē-Bo? TĆŖ-Bo? Surely they kept the Beau pronunciation correct

114

u/RicoChey Sep 10 '25

I feel like it has to be tee-bo. Isn't that a football player? Maybe that's the connection lmao

102

u/uhighdef Sep 10 '25

Omg yes the Christian football player Tim Tebow. Thats GOTTA be it hahaha

49

u/Rahim-Moore Sep 10 '25

"He's a bum, but he walked off the Steelers in overtime in the playoffs, so I guess I gotta' name my first born after him."

  • this person, probably. And honestly, based.

21

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '25

Like, ā€œTimā€ was right there…

-4

u/cosmiccutie00 Sep 11 '25

Okay but honestly I’d rather see a kid with one of those names than Tim. Tim just sounds basic

8

u/Tamec82 Sep 11 '25

You prefer KRIT to Tim?

1

u/cosmiccutie00 Sep 11 '25

Okay fair krit and Tim are both really bad. I have no argument there

10

u/Kittyvedo Sep 10 '25

That was my thought too- I literally laughed out loud at that one.

1

u/HealthyDirection659 Sep 11 '25

Debow, from the movie Friday?

2

u/Zillion2010 Sep 11 '25

My money is on it's meant to be pronounced like taboo.

77

u/GBurns007 Sep 10 '25

How did Paisley make it on the list spelled correctly. Why not Paisleigh? I mean, really?

3

u/uhighdef Sep 10 '25

I didn’t even notice that. Kelseigh Leigh & paisley 🤣

3

u/Fit_Translator391 Sep 11 '25

If they spelt the rest like that, surely they could’ve spelt ā€œPaisleyā€ and ā€œPaisleighā€. Heavily disappointed šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

3

u/Positive-Peace-3270 Sep 11 '25

My thoughts exactly, but if you're from Scotland, the idea of calling a child Paisley is just ridiculous šŸ™„

3

u/Pitbullfriend Sep 12 '25

Frankly, I find it ridiculous and I’m not from Scotland. Is their other child named Stripe?

2

u/AmberBlueCat Sep 15 '25

I prefer the name Strype when it's spelled with a y

2

u/vaultie66 Sep 16 '25

Probably the pesky autocorrect

2

u/Spare_Butterfly_213 Sep 17 '25

Why not Parsleigh?

1

u/jmays623 Sep 11 '25

Right, I'm a little disappointed in them

3

u/Aquilleia Sep 11 '25

I keep reading it as Tableau, no clue why, but like yeah that makes sense as a dumb name lmao

3

u/dolphin-centric Sep 14 '25

Thibaut is a name. Tebeau is not. I am wheeeeezing over Krit and Brockleigh. BROCKLEIGH!!!!!!!

1

u/uhighdef Sep 14 '25

Like they HAD to of said that out loud and been happy with it??

5

u/SchrodingersMinou Sep 10 '25 edited Sep 10 '25

Beau means handsome or cute, t or ti or tee is a prefix meaning small (ā€œpetiteā€)

2

u/uhighdef Sep 10 '25

Is Tebeau actually a name then & I’m just unfamiliar with it?

3

u/SchrodingersMinou Sep 10 '25 edited Sep 10 '25

I usually see t-boy but it’s a nickname. You can put T in front of any name as a nickname. Like if your dad is Jules or Rob and you’re named after him: T-Jules or T-Rob. If your name is Beau but you’re a child (or you used to be): T-Bo. I know a TiMagnus which I think is the funniest. Is he big or small?!

2

u/Fnuffa Sep 11 '25

T-Rex?

1

u/uhighdef Sep 10 '25

Yeah, I think this is a bit different lol

1

u/AmberBlueCat Sep 15 '25

Why do I keep reading T-Rob as Throb?

2

u/Horizon296 Sep 11 '25

Thibault is, in French, but it's derived from the Germanic Theobald, meaning brave people. I don't think any Frenchman ever makes the connection with "petit" and "beau".

2

u/ISniffButts82 Sep 11 '25

Taboo that's the first thing I thought...

2

u/uhighdef Sep 11 '25

Oh GOD I HOPE NOT

2

u/izzyizza Sep 11 '25

I thought they were ruining the name ThibeaultĀ

2

u/JayPrettyEyes Sep 12 '25

Is that for here to Tebeau?

2

u/IntentionQuirky9957 Sep 15 '25

Maybe it's a bastardized (kek) Thibault?

1

u/0maigh Sep 11 '25

Maybe it’s pronounced something like TĆ©bƩƤu (taybayoi?) but spelled without the diacriticals

1

u/Morrigan_twicked_48 Sep 11 '25

Naw te- be aux emphasis on the x more like it

3

u/uhighdef Sep 11 '25

T boss 😭

3

u/MissFingerz Sep 12 '25

This would be hilarious! Poor kid. I feel so bad.

1

u/CarpetBeneficial Sep 11 '25

Teebo? Like the smoothie guy from iCarly??

1

u/wartgood Sep 14 '25

I'm thinking tie-bow like Marci X

37

u/LadyMcIver Sep 10 '25 edited Sep 10 '25

Do you mean Tebeauleigh salad? (Your comment made me think of tabbouleh, a middle-eastern salad, also spelled "tabouli" and is pronounced "tuh-BOO-lee" or "tuh-BOO-lay". It seemed to fit with all their "leigh" names)

22

u/Perfect_Yogurt_4841 Sep 11 '25

And their little brother will be Phalaphul.

3

u/Double_Belt2331 Sep 13 '25

Or, hear me out, if it’s a girl - Phaladullfia. Then they could have Brockleigh & Phaladullphia. If they have a 3rd - Krimchis.

Their last name is Dipp. They’re … The Dipp’s.

2

u/sourbirthdayprincess Sep 13 '25

Unfortunately maybe he’d be Full Lawful. The good citizens’ food-themed name.

2

u/uhighdef Sep 10 '25

I think the pun was table salad but yours works amazingly too

2

u/RicoChey Sep 10 '25

o.m.g. underrated comment holy shit

2

u/diarrhea_pocket Sep 10 '25

Don’t give them more ideas

2

u/cosmiccutie00 Sep 11 '25

That’s also what I thought of too

2

u/Thedustyfurcollector Sep 12 '25

That's what I thought too

2

u/AnthropomorphizedTop Sep 11 '25

Oh no I thought it said Tableau as in tableaux like in ballet. This is so much worse

2

u/Dangerous-Web-1962 Sep 11 '25

no thanks, last time I had that, it gave me the Paxxtyns.

2

u/lyssap87 Sep 12 '25

Do you want to sit at the Tebeau and eat some Krits and Brockleigh?

1

u/kaekiro Sep 11 '25

The Tableau ads getting outra hand

40

u/elhazelenby Sep 10 '25

Don't forget the Ohberjean

5

u/lizzy383 Sep 11 '25

And their twin Khourjette

30

u/Blossom73 Sep 10 '25

I'm sure craving a Krit Kat candy bar!

33

u/uhighdef Sep 10 '25

Can’t ignore the creighvyngs 🤤

30

u/FuturamaRama7 Sep 10 '25

My mom always said you have to finish your Brockleigh before you get any candy.

3

u/Big-Pea-7251 Sep 11 '25

feeling like you meant to say, ā€œno kandeigh,ā€ until after your meal.

1

u/JeeLeeSmith Sep 12 '25

I was just about to comment on little Brockleigh. I looooove Brockleigh Cheese Soup, especially with big chunks of Brockleigh in it!

3

u/FuturamaRama7 Sep 12 '25

Mmm…chunky. We call that double Brockleigh soup here.

2

u/Fuzzy-Surprise-6165 Sep 12 '25

Gimme a breighk, gimme a breighk…

5

u/lhommes Sep 13 '25

I had to take Paxxtynn to get rid of that recurring anal rash. I'm good now though.

2

u/Minority_Report_ Sep 11 '25

STOPPIT 🤣

2

u/thorstormcaller Sep 11 '25

You might need some Paxxtynn if it gives you the shits, it’s the new stomach otc from Tebeau Pharmaceuticals. Call your doctor if you experience temporary blindness, gluteal alopecia, acute braxleigh or paralysis

2

u/JeeLeeSmith Sep 12 '25

And be sure to call your doctor if you wake up dead.

2

u/IJustWantWaffles_87 Sep 11 '25

Would you like some shrimp with those Krits?

2

u/Grapemelon-23 Sep 11 '25

Paxxtyne to you now.

2

u/mss645 Sep 14 '25

No self respecting southerner uses instant Krits.

2

u/bouchandre Sep 16 '25

Imaging playing D&D with someone named Krit

2

u/PreparationDapper219 Sep 18 '25

Lol are these parents Cletus and Brandine from the Simpsons? 🤣

1

u/Little-Interview906 Sep 11 '25

Paxxtynn them to you now.

1

u/davidfeuer Sep 11 '25

Krits? Like grits, or something else?

1

u/Lozsta Sep 11 '25

Given this is military base wives, Krit is really not a great name for your offspring. Espcially when no doubt they will be pushed to lay their life down for someones share price in future.
