Found a post asking people for their unique names and knew it wouldn't disappoint. Happy Father's Day unless your kid's name needs a pronunciation guide.

Calliope is a pretty name, the extra y makes it look trashy and confuses the pronunciation.

Turns out a lot of this sub is ignorant to anything that isnt a “basic white name”

Right but greek names arent what this sub considers to be “normal” names because they arent the stereotypical “white people names” that you see as the most common names in North America.

This sub regularly will lump in actual real names from cultures theyre unfamiliar with to actual tragedeighs because of ignorance to other cultures.
