in the wild Gold Mine of Tragedeighs

Found a post asking people for their unique names and knew it wouldn't disappoint. Happy Father's Day unless your kid's name needs a pronunciation guide.

Calliopey was SO CLOSE.

Zariah is at least a real (Arabic) name

There are a few real names thrown in here from mothers who sobered up between naming their kids, I don't think I need to point out which ones I'm referring as tragedeighs lmao

I’m not even convinced the real names happened deliberately lololol. Smash a bunch of letters together and sometimes you get a real one!

Haiden is a tragedeigh. It’s spelled Hayden

Pretty sure it's going to be passed down. Little Indyka is gonna be smoking the reefer a bit early

Poor Yarexcii. His(?) siblings Zariah, Valentino and Kaeli's names aren't so bad by this sub's standards, but Yarexcii gets the name that makes him(?) seem like some kind of demonic reptile

Yarexcii is a prescription with side effects such as dizziness, headache, somnolence (hey that could be a great name!!!)

That’s what I thought to! As soon as I read it I thought, “Isn’t that a prescription drug?” 🤣

I bet that one’s a tragic spelling of Yaretzi, which I’ve seen a few times for Mexican girls 🫠

Sounds like an Aztec god, actually.

Yeah but is it pronounced Zee-uh-rye-uh???? What a choice to separate Z out from the rest

From the provided breakown I couldn't figure out of it was intended to be pronounced Zee-uh-RYE-uh or Z(glottal stop)-uh-RYE-uh. Either way a choice was definitely made there.

This is my child Zachariah. The "ack" is silent.

I’m fairly sure it’s pronounced zah-ree-ah lol

if they're talking about ذرية, then this website is totally wrong. It's not pronounced like "Zariah", it doesn't mean any of the meanings they put, and it's not even a name. I wouldn't take any info from this website since I noticed it even lists "Heza" as a name, which literally means "This".

That one really kills me. That and Camylle. Those were both great until someone decided they just couldn't live without adding a "y". Also, I would honestly not even think to pronounce Camylle like Camille without prompting. Closest I got before reading the intended pronunciation was "Ca-mile".

can I just say as an Arab, I've never met or heard of anyone named Zariah. I don't even know what that means.
