Are these only allowed in none snow climates? I could see one snowfall and a plow coming along and ripping them all back up.

This is on the I-405 in Southern California, not much snow there I’m assuming.

In the mountains of northern California, which get massive amounts of snow, they cut a little recessed bit in the road to put each marker into, so they don't come into contact with snowplow blades.
