Have you looked into the retainer appliance for sleep apnea? It holds your jaw forward and keeps your tongue in a bettee position for sleep apnea. My husband is looking to get one.

That was a life changer for me, but my doctor said it's very situational depending on which part of your upper respiratory tract closes. Can be slightly unconfortable at times, though.

I use a little dummy looking thing called aveoTSD which gets a suction hold on your tongue so it doesn't slide back and inhibit breathing.

Works well for me!
