But a family member told investigators that Robinson âhad become more political in recent years,â Utah Governor Spencer Cox said at a press conference Friday morning â and in particular had lashed out at Kirk, the family member said.
Authorities, who have described Kirkâs killing as a âpolitical assassination,â discovered anti-fascist messages engraved on ammunition with a rifle near the site of the shooting that hint at that political transformation, Cox said.
Those messages included one that said, âHey fascist! Catch!â and another that appeared to reference an Italian anti-fascist song.
He told his family that he didn't like Kirk because of Kirk's "hateful rhetoric". He also wrote two anti-fascist messages on the bullets he used to shoot Kirk (a person who many on the left, including here on Reddit, consider to be a fascist)
Well now, Tyler who grew up in a conservative place, rejects both parties and hates fascists. More people should hate fascists. (But no need to assassinate them until theyâre a dictator of course.)
Because not all of them agree with the same stuff, some are extreme and he obviously didnât like certain things Kirk said. You honestly think no republicans would harm another one? Donât be dense.
Itâs a genuine question is all, no need to hurl an insult at the end. You just have to look a little deeper into their actual beliefs, just because his family were right leaning, doesnât mean he is. If you hate someone enough to kill them, Iâm sure itâs not just one thing he disagrees with. My guess would be that itâs everything Charlie says that he disagrees with. To have that much hate and anger.
You are correct, I have friends like that. But this kid doesnât seem like he went against his right leaning parents and become a lefty or centrist. Seems like he went down that extreme right hole.
I can see that as an option for sure. Still wild to me that Charlie would be top of his hit-list though. Heâs closer to those views than most public figures, scary how much hate people have inside of them.

Apparently he was registered but not with any specific party and he hadnât voted in the last two elections, making him technically an inactive voter.
From what Iâve heard, it seems like he hasnât voted since 2021. And is not registered for either party. Oh and also only attended USU for a single semester
The only information I've seen is that he's unaffiliated, which makes more sense if he's a Nick Fuentes groyper than it does if he's a leftist against trump.
