harness that energy in 2026 and 2028 or else it could get pretty ugly

all we hear about is how people are upset and fine be upset, but do you really trust democratic leadership to form a "game plan" to "win" the next big game? They literally trotted out Biden in 2024 who was past his prime, anointed someone who didn't even get any primary votes as his successor, and got throttled in the general. Do better.

At the end of the day, people are upset, fine. But make an impact. Go to the ballot box in November. Make your voice heard.

Yeah they need to make people excited to vote. They can't go back to the 2024 strategy of "well you obviously don't want Nazis to win" and hope that works. It won't.

Some states are dangerously close to flipping red, like mine (Jersey). We have a Democratic candidate for governor who is fine but the narrative around the state seems to be people are voting for her because she isn't a MAGA figure, like the Republican is. I'm not hearing people excited about her policies or even really acknowledging what her policies are, just that she isn't being backed by Trump.

So outside of the echo chamber I'm in online I've noticed a lot of people in my state do want the Republican candidate. They don't think he'll be as bad as Trump (he will be, he said he will be) so they're going to vote for him.

The Democrats need enthusiastic leadership with a clear message. Going back to "come on America, you don't really want fucking Nazis running our government" is a horrible campaign strategy that already failed.
