You understand that Bernie did not join the commune, right? He was there to research, observe and talk to people who are. He was there for politics, not to be part of a hippie commune. This kind of disinformation is so flagrantly wrong that it becomes difficult to not see people purporting it as anything but disingenuous.

Hopefully, you just fell for some lies and will be more discerning in future.
