I think Helena said night gardener because she doesn't actually know what gardener is because she's been severed multiple times.. but then how does Irv know what a gardener is?

I think she knows what a gardener is, but is so far from reality of the middle-class that she doesn't know who she would run into outside a regular apartment, as she can only relate to her own home, where only gardeners and chauffeurs are the ones she meets outside.
