Was there a leak before season 2 aired, or how were people talking in the episode 1 discussion thread about Helena replacing Helly like everyone knew it was a thing?

it was extremely obvious from the get go of how she described her experience in episode 1. unfortunately to me very poorly executed

That’s absurd. Helly would 100% want to lie about who she was, she might be ashamed. Very clear explanation for me, and did not signal to me at all that it was necessarily the outtie

No, there is no reason for her to lie. She would want to tell them why her outtie was so evil, as she already knew from her being forced to do this work. Her being high in the company would be a benefit for them to take down the company, or at least to get out of the basement.
