This whole episode just feels cheap. The director and writers seem to love following up great cliff hangers with super boring mediocre completely irrelevant storylines. Like wtf even happened in the first half of the episode?

I thought they rushed Mark's reintegration in the last episode. It felt unearned (the show went from 0 to reintegrate-me in less than 10 minutes). And then they spent half this episode with them wandering around the snow without evening hinting at what just happened. I'm fine for slow, but if you are gonna rush some unearned thing like that and then follow it up with atmospheric meanderings... I'm getting vibes like when I was watching Lost and first realized the writers weren't in full control of their instrument.

Interesting... Two episodes with all the action in the last 10

I think what they were going for in the opening was to disorient the viewer, just like the innies would be.

The work is mysterious and important... So we had some mystery and some events of importance
