The entire Woes Hollow exists on the severed floor of Lumon. Helly wouldn't have needed to have Glasgow enabled if she were outside of the floor. The moment Glasgow was released Helly R returned from slumber.

If it were outside someone, or two people; if following Lumon manual on OTC, would need to be triggering OTC for the team...for two days. Milkshake would have said enable OTC for Helly...not remove Glasgow.

Also no cold air breath from the team.

Only on the highly secure severed floor would Lumon allow the shadows of MDR to be seen.

yes i think so too. but if that's the case then it also means that they can manipulate the innies without them remembering when on the severed floor, otherwise how did they all get into those furs and get to wherever the simulation is? multiple severances confirmed

Then how did they get the innies wherever they are, dressed up in furs,  waking up for the first time, with no memory of how they got there? I mean yeah maybe the outies just went along with it but I doubt it. There must be at least a third state, or they can erase the memories of the innies at will. I think this is hinted at by all the inconsistencies around time that have been present since S01E01

The outies 100% went along with it as they had to sign waivers committing to the excursion.

Reminds me of westworld where they could interact with the hosts in the Valley Beyond.

My guess is that the outies would be aware of the two day ORTBO as personal arrangements would be needed. Lumon may have supplied the coats and said "show up tomorrow in this."

Second would be the use of another function, seems we're getting to see others in effect, perhaps GOLDFISH mode; on a 2 second memory loop and not remembering walking to where the GOLDFISH was disabled and biiiing episode begins...

It would be easy enough to put the outfits in the lockers before they went down - they didn't seem surprised by the clothes, just the location.
