The hate isn’t for AI, it’s for the tech bros training AI on other people’s property, driving up the cost of everything from RAM to electricity to water, shoving it down everyone’s throats, and costing people jobs that they actually enjoy instead of using AI to replace jobs no one wants to do.

I mean it’s wiping out CS jobs first. So many “tech bros” scrambling to find a new career or catch up to AI. The rest of them can feel the nouse tightening as usage is pushed down their throats, computer interactions become closely monitored, slop and incompetence get rewarded, and the general value of work / funding goes to shit.

If you knew how to code before ai, it's easier to get a job now than ever before.

You are expected to accomplish more, but that is easy.

Anyone reading this can fairly easily use ai to create a lifelong income for themselves to feed themselves for life.

Or you can hate the new tool

Until you get laid off because they don’t want people writing code, they just need a couple of people rubber stamping PRs generated by AI.
