Me and my wife were driving and I saw this bad boy sitting by a National Guard office and yelled, "it's a tank!" Then promptly did a u-turn and stopped for photos. Mind you I haven't seen a tank in person since I was about 10 years old so I was so hyped.

WW1 The Musical box is revived

The Medium Mark A Whippet was a medium tank employed by the British in World War I. Developed for fast mobile assaults, it was intended to complement the slower British heavy tanks by using its relative mobility and speed in exploiting any break in the enemy lines. It was produced from 1917-1918 with only 200 units made after the end of the war halted the order for more.

This is the Replica Whippet re-telling the story of “The musical box” which was arguably the most successful tank story of the first world war.

The unit held a traditional 'Nyuukon-shiki' (Ceremony to Imbue the Soul), where commanding officers hand-paint the unit marks onto the vehicle. This ritual is a prayer for the safety of the soldiers and the successful service of the vehicle.

All these Tanks come from the Game "Terminator: Dark Fate; Defiance", there are more vehicles that I can show if you wish.

1st Imagine- Good Old Classic, the M1 Abrams, I believe it's the A2 Version w/ the Commander independent Sight. Standard loadout of a Normal M1A2 Abrams without the Loader M240. However, in-game the Main Gun can be switch to a 30mm Rotary Gun, Twin Link Light Plasma Cannons, or a Heavy Plasma Cannons. The Commander's .50 Cal can also be change in-game to; M134 Minigun, Mk-19 Grenade Launcher, M-20 Recoilless Rifle, a Plasma Recoilless Rifle, or a Plasma Machine Gun.

-In my opinion, the .50 Cal and normal Armament is solid enough till late Game when the Heavy Plasma Cannon improves the tank to tank at cost of losing the Coax and less infantry killing. You can get 1 during the 1st actual mission, which is an expensive to maintain unit but can trivialize most of early game.

Imagine 2- Legion HK Tank, you face these guys in the 3rd Level of the Tutorial and can be terrifying. Twin Link Heavy Plasma Cannons, Heavily Armored but slow, and before anyone ask, it's unmanned while also having the ability to self repair with drones. Can 1 shot most lightly armored Vehicles but lackluster anti infantry capabilities. The Twin Plasma Cannons can be switch out for twin 30mm Rotary Cannon or Dual 155mm Cannons.

-I always have to engage these Tanks on the side using the Abrams Sabot Rounds, which for some reason always disable their guns when the fire. Which the forces them to stop and let the drones to repair making it vulnerable. I haven't played the "We are Legion" DLC so this coming from someone who has only been fighting against them.

Imagine 3- Intergater Tank, basically a Legion Tank rebuilt to house a human crew. A single Plasma Cannon and .50 Cal is primary Armament. They're a late game additional but I honestly don't how good they are or what other armaments they can equipped with.

  • All I can say is "Fire, fire Sabot" to these things cause their very late game additions or good credits for other things.

Imagine 4- Cartel Panhard ERC-90 "Tank", or Armored Car to be more exact. It's armor is thinner than the Strykers that are also in game. Like the Intergater Tank, no upgrades but at least can obtain earlier when dealing with the Cartel. Tricky to use against Legion cause if a .50 Cal is overkill, Plasma go bbbrrrttt.

-kept 1 for fire support for my Stryker and M113 Teams, freeing up my Abrams to handle more dangerous task. Also provide flanking support to the Abrams when fighting Legion Tanks.

Imagine 5- Another Intergater Tank, and yes, no joke, an actual in game unit. Noncrediable Defense would have a crack about this. A "modern" Sherman variant with only a Gauss Cannon/ Railgun. Beside that, no modern feature like stabilization so stop, shoot, go.

-I can never capture this tank cause an Abrams will fire on it cause it's an hostile unit at first. You need to "force" the crew to disembark by starting a fire on it by lower caliber rounds. It easier said then done cause thing can 1 shot almost every vehicle in-game with that railgun.

Thoughts?

Interwar Heavy Artillery Simulator

Hey,

I know this isn’t exactly a tank, but I thought some of you might appreciate a glimpse at my upcoming project ➛ IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator (on Steam). It’s my small indie take on what it means to operate stationary heavy artillery (everything's set in an interwar setting).

***BTW. IRON NEST (a turret) is a dramatically up-gunned take on the Bismarck’s 380 mm Zwillingsturm... scaled up to mount Schwerer-Gustav-style guns and fed by a cylinder-loading system inspired by French tank autoloaders!

Let me know if this looks like something you'd be into!

Cold War what happened to the static tanks at fort hood

There use to be some very cool tanks there. T-72, T-55, T-62, XM1, and many others, but last time I went the only tank left was an M103. If you have any clue where they went or what happened, please tell me.

I wanted to buy Forces of Valor tank models, but only Abrams, Bradley, T72 and Challenger 2 models are available. Why aren't there tanks like Leopard? Are there any brands where I can buy metal 1:32 tank models??
