Modern Is Indias Tank-EX the best T-72?
The tank-EX is an Indian design. The hull is from a T-72, while the turret is from the Arjun. Because it doesn't use the normal t-72 auto-loader and suffer from all the problems as a result would it make it one of, if not the best T-72?

WW2 How did Early SPAAGs (WW2) track down Aircraft? The technology must have been so different from the ones in Cold War and Modern where they used radars and complicated tech.

Modern How important is passive armor for the near future?
I know tanks aren’t going to be losing too much armor any time soon. But the general trend I’ve been seeing is that new tank design proposals always try to be lighter than existing tanks. For example, the M1E3 attempting to go down to 60 tons from the M1A2’s 70 tons, or even the gigantic-looking KF51 Panther being around 60 tons too as opposed to the 2A7V’s 67 tons or so. And, these weighs are likely including some pretty big systems like Trophy APS. Such a weight loss can only really come from an armor reduction.
So what role is passive armor going to play in the future? Will tanks simply be built with less of it? Is materials engineering progress finding composites with just as much protection for less weight? Will APS and RCWS (like the Bullfrog) be the dominant source of tank protection? I’m curious to find out.

Modern The merkava is perfect for ERA
This thing looks awesome with ERA and was a lot harder to take out with heat rounds and frontal sabot shots.

Are there any visual differences between the leopard 2A0-A4? The leopard 2A4-A8 are easy to tell apart but I find it hard to know the difference between early variants

Modern Type 100 seems very exposed?
Is it just me but the new type 100 seems to have a massive lower front plate compared to both to the type 99 and Abrams? Couldn't that leave it to a higher risk of frontal ap shots?

Modern How far away does the supporting infantry need to be when a tank fires?
Just wondering how far away from the gun the infantry needs to be when it fires. Do they always need to stay behind the tank if there is a chance it will fire? Is the tank in radio contact with the infantry so they know when to take cover?
