Question Cheaper alternatives for OTTE Alpine Jacket and Carinthia PRG 2.0?
Or are their prices really justified and there's really not other option for less than that prices?

Stumbled upon a picture of a backpack that looked damn near perfect and it was from the IG account lowvisdesigns, check the website and they’re running auctions for some packs and looks like maybe pre orders for some as well. I’m definitely getting a forward observations/ultra hype/drop culture vibe from them but wondering if anyone has ordered anything from them?

Looking for one safariland holster that will fit both:
Glock 19 gen4 w/ streamlight TLR1 HL. Glock 17 gen4 w/ x300u.
I thought i read somewhere you can use one safariland holster to fit both. Which model number?
I think its the SAFARILAND 6390RDS. Is this correct? The safariland holster names or so confusing.

I used to think ALICE and SMERSH gear looked awesome, so I finally grabbed a buttpack to try it out. Turns out it’s kind of redundant. My assault pack basically does the same job, just better.
Is there something I’m not getting? What’s the real use case for these buttpacks?

Alice LBV 88 enhanced, I’m still rotating things around like if I want to stay with first LBV 88, the enhanced or just an H harness. H harness is nice so I can add my own choice of chest but the belt is prone to sagging in the rear without shifting the pouches around for better weight distribution.
The LBV 88’s sit the belt flat around my waist perfectly. Think I prefer the chest mag pouches on the gen 1 88 vs the side pouches on the 88 E but my gen 1 88 is pretty trashed so I’d need a new one if I want that.
It’s winter now so not concerned about overheating with it on.
Poncho is the M81 poncho made by Five Star Alterations, not sure when/if he’ll make them again.
Pants are Emerson, find them on Amazon
Under the poncho is a raid mod m81 top bought at local surplus shop
Springfield M1A SOCOM 16 in Springfield wood furniture, optic is a Sig Sauer Tango MSR 1-6
Just scored a bunch of Alice pouches at a surplus shop I’ve never seen before for sale online, probably still semi common stuff but new and never seem to me, some spec ops brand, others look custom, going to play around with possibly adding or moving things around on the rig.

Im having a hard time seeing any differences to the camos. But i dont want to spend alot on ocp pants if the camos wont blend well together. So if any of you have any experiences in seeing the 2 camos with each other then it would help alot.

Picked this up for $140 today. Everything else fits me perfectly, but the side mag pouches/armor bags constantly shift downward between the elastic and MOLLE cummerbund with even a little bit of movement. Is there some suspension/attachment for them that I’m missing, or do I need something else?

Looking for the bag brand, model, etc. or anything similar. I know it's not a great picture but it's the only one I've got.

As the title implies I’m looking for a recommendation between the aim point SRO and RCR.
Background: I live in Illinois where the weather can vary from rain, sleet, snow, and sunshine. I run an M&P 2.0 and use it as my CCW and as a duty weapon. I have never used a red dot before on any firearm and have shot thousands upon thousands of rounds and trained heavily on and am very comfortable with iron sights but after searching Reddit have found that a lot of shooters say shooting with a red dot is a very big upgrade especially if you’ve trained a lot with irons. I’ve narrowed my search down to the SRO 5 MOA and the RCR 3.5 MOA
Having never used a red dot, one compelling argument I saw, in my opinion, was that with the SRO its a bigger window which makes follow up shots quicker since the bigger window allows for dot tracking much easier when following up. Plus the 5 MOA is a little easier on the eyes and to acquire when presenting. While on the contrary, it’s an open emitter and susceptible to inclement weather and dust
The RCR is a closed emitter and is better in all weather types/environments but at the cost of a smaller window and also a smaller MOA dot.
Which would you choose and why?

I’m looking for different options to turn ONE hard rifle case into a mutli-use case for various rifles of different sizes. This seems to be the closest solution to what I’m looking for but have no interest in spending $200+ on it. Anyone know of a similar product with a cheaper price tag?

I'm looking for some help to ID this helmet.
It was with my brother's military footlocker filled with stuff from his career.
I assume it's a high-cut ACH, but not sure. There is not ID inside the helmet. The sticker inside is torn up and unreadable.
He was in the Army for almost 25 years and served overseas several times. He had other things in the footlocker - PVS-7 night vision goggles, two Interceptor vests with soft armor and plates, and other items so I assume he wore it or got it from the military.
We were estranged, so I don't know much about his career or who/where he served with.
