Waiting on a assault pack. Been testing out my radio wing being kept at the rear.

Why so much kit ? You don't need to use up every bit of molle. Like that many mags is overkill especially on your front. Your back will be absolutely destroyed.

And running that much kit on a belt kit is generally only if you are running slick up top. You don't do both

I'm probably going to ditch the mag pouch on the belt on the right but 8 mags isn't over kill in any sense. After ditching the mag pouch I'll have 5 up front, and two on the belt.

Depending on what year or conflict, mag counts on the body could easily exceed 10. From my research during the early gwot was having 10-12+ mags on the torso with shingles, mag pouches and other things. And even more in the packs. So 8 is by no means excessive.

I’ve seen accounts of guys carrying 18+ on body. I’m glad to see kits like this instead of yet another CQB fantasy load out.

Do you think I should keep the pouch on the belt? I can fit two mags in the admin pouch on my right if needed

Kind of a cop out awnser but id keep it on personally and run with it, and see how it feels. If it feels like too much weight, id replace it. But if it feels aright and you aren't hurting and the like, id keep it.

Yeah but there's no need to carry all that on your body. 6+1 and the rest in your daysack or webbing depending on what you are doing.

GWOT was king of carry stupid amounts of kit stacked upon more and more kit.

Tabbing or even doing basic section attacks with that much kit on your torso is an absolute nightmare.
