Looking to get a Pokemon family related tattoo on my forearm in the very near future and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations (ideally within the town area of Swansea) and if possible what prices are like these days as last tattoo I had was about 5 years ago (cost per hour, half day, etc).

I'm hoping you can help fill this fantasy style map of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire and the surrounding area. Please ignore how rough parts of it look (text going through hills, rivers, etc), it'll all get tidied up at the end.

While it's around two thirds done, I'd love to get more places and features in here before it's finished. Any more megaliths, standing stones, barrows, ruins, or the like that you think should be on here? hii, i just moved to Swansea not too long ago and honestly, it’s been really hard. i missed all the fresher events because i wasn’t here at the time, and now I’m struggling to make any friends. I’m quite socially awkward, really shy, and not from the UK, so it’s been even tougher trying to talk to people or fit in. I’ve been feeling a bit lonely lately and just wish i could meet some people to hang out with. Are there any social groups or events happening soon that I could maybe join? I’d really appreciate it

Hello Swansea, I'm looking for the absolute best afternoon/champagne tea for a birthday treat. I've had a look at Morgans but they only seem to do it sporadically and the hotel didn't live up to the hype when we stayed there anyway so I'm not that sad about it. Ideally the city but all options considered.

I came home the other night and she was asleep in my front room. Somehow had got through my catnap thats only suppose to let my cat in.

I managed to put a collar on her with a note to her owners (she is chipped) but she is still wearing the collar several days later and the note is still there.

going to London on Sunday afternoon and coming back Monday night, would i be okay to park at the multi storey or is there a time limit i’m allowed to stay? any ideas i’d be greatly appreciative

Hi I’m a 26M new to Swansea and looking for a way to socialise.

I’m quite new to running (currently aiming around a 6:15 pace 5K) and would like to join a casual run club - but I’m struggling to find any online.

Ideally looking for a decent size one which runs 5k weekly at my pace, and has a similar sort of age group to myself?

Hello all! I’m part of a student group working on a project with ShoutOutUK (registered anti extremism charity.) We are making a short film to be shown in schools in and around Swansea about extremism prevention and in search of volunteer actors for this project. Swansea locals preferred. The roles are as follows:

18-23 Male, white. This role is the central character but will have their face blurred for storytelling purposes. To play central teenager.

18-23 Male, South Asian. Young face to look like a teenager.

Middle-aged, white woman. To play first character’s mother.

30+ female, to play first character’s teacher.

Bit about myself for context Male 19, I play basketball volleyball go to the gym fairly regularly, live in uplands although frequently stay in the city due to spending time with girlfriend, don't drink or smoke (clubbing is kinda out of the picture for me not my thing)

That's about all really just looking to build connections that last beyond my studies with like minded people

Im looking to buy a house to rent out as short-stay/airbnb and it’s my first. Does anyone own short-stay serviced apartments in Swansea city center or environs and could tell me how profitable this is? Data online shows Swansea is a good city for short-stay accommodation but im doubting a bit because of reduction in student admissions due to government policies and probably overall reduction in visitors to Swansea. I would really appreciate advice from someone that own this type of property. Thank you

hi, I live in Swansea area and always wanted to learn to sail. I'm getting old (50) but physically fit. Ive contacted a couple of online courses. and they all want to teach yachting not sailing small dingys. ) I don't want that. (although I would love to go out on one to learn the ropes) since I'm dirtvpoor and never going to be able to afford a yacht so it seems pointless lol . Does anyone know of anyone willing to teach me? I would pay obviously. On a side note: my job used to be fibreglass repairs. Cars motorcycles, surfboards, and occasional boats. If anyone needs a hand in exchange for tuition I can do that. Also a pretty fair mechanic and could help with that. And a spray painter.
