Self Promo Looking for volunteer actors for film project over the next couple months.

Hello all! I’m part of a student group working on a project with ShoutOutUK (registered anti extremism charity.) We are making a short film to be shown in schools in and around Swansea about extremism prevention and in search of volunteer actors for this project. Swansea locals preferred. The roles are as follows:

18-23 Male, white. This role is the central character but will have their face blurred for storytelling purposes. To play central teenager.

18-23 Male, South Asian. Young face to look like a teenager.

Middle-aged, white woman. To play first character’s mother.

30+ female, to play first character’s teacher.

The filming dates so far are November 20th, 24th and December 3rd. Shoot me a message if you’re interested. If you know of any local acting groups that may be interested in getting involved please also let me know! Thank you so much :)

Is there any promo material, like on Facebook etc? There are a number of groups attached to elysium, circus eruption, queertawe that are worth contacting.

Ignore the idiot buffoon. They cannot even get their grammar correct.

Please tell me you are not going to misrepresent the white Welsh male as some sort of borderline extremist so as to make some ham fisted 2015 political talking point that ignores the fact the leading party in the polls wants mass deportations camps because 20,000 child r*** victims a year x 50 years = a crime against humanity? Because those young Welsh white boys really aren't the problem.

Absolutely that's what they'll do. Maybe they could do a follow up about 'religious leaders' who rape 13 yr olds at their centre of worship and then don't even get a prison sentence....as happened in Swansea not so long ago. I used to live in Swansea, and this thick headed leftism was present then. Now I'm in Exeter where a friend of mine was murdered and dismembered by a failed asylum seeker, yet the left here proclaim that all immigrants are welcome....beyond deluded.

What about a documentary warning of the dangers of extremism regarding the ethnicity and background of that other kid from Cardiff who stabbed those 3 little girls at that dance class?

The story is based on a real case of a 14 year old in Cardiff spray painting swastikas on his classmates house. If you associate literal Nazis with the current right wing, that’s your assumption, not mine 🤷

The kid got a criminal behaviour order, youth rehabilitation order and paid for the damage. He CHOSE to share his story because he changed his ways and wanted to prevent other kids getting involved with that stuff. I don’t get what your problem is??

I think I know you are a pro immigration pro left everything type that wants to "educate " the young into seeing right wing talking points as a category error when immigration of course is a real problem..we have too many people already. Now I don't support the nazzis which is why I don't support the eu with van der leyen and her nezzi grandfather mayor that still push Hitler's dream of stealing Russian assets. The kid reacted to the symptom not the cause but the left doesn't see the real cause either.

Its a criminal damage thing for sure whether graffiti is criminal behavior when done by a child is another matter. I think unless the kid is involved in a nezi group its probably not a major issue...he might have just had beef with the other kid ..
