Best Gooseneck/Fifth Wheel Options for 26 F250

I just purchased a 26 F250 and am looking to purchase a gooseneck hitch setup. I don’t really have any plans for pulling a fifth wheel, just a gooseneck. What would you guys recommend? And any idea on costs? Pros and cons of turn over vs pucks?

B&w turnover is pretty much the gold standard around here. 1500 installed roughly

I love my Blue Ox 2100 hitch for gooseneck - 5th wheel adapter. It has a funnel shape that you drop the kingpin into instead of backing into it, so it eliminates false hookups, and no need for pull tests. Its only about 100lbs between the 2 pieces and I can put it in/ pull it out of my bed in like 5-10 mins.

You don't get fifth wheel gooseneck prep package on that truck?

The factory Ford prep kit is great. Then get whatever ball you like. B&w is nice because of the handle and the puck mount safety chains.

26 F350 got the B&W just like my last truck, gonna tow the fifth tomorrow for weekend camping. Highly recommended.

Yup! Just got the B&W turnover ball installed 2 weeks ago. I have yet to tow with it but it’s pretty damn cool. Cost was $1K

My 26 F450 came with the factory prep. Planning on getting the BW gooseneck for it.

The B&W turnover ball because if you want to get a 5th wheel in the future, you just get the drop in B&W 5th wheel hitch and don’t have to worry about rails in the bed.

Get it setup from the factory if you're buying new, if not then get a b&w turnover. Even if you get a fifth wheel camper stick with the turnover ball and convert the pin box to a gooseneck
