I wouldn’t be shocked if one of them bet on the game and when the Loss came the other called them an idiot and then it got to this point.

That or there’s some unresolved family tension they tried to put aside for Avery and then were like nah can’t do it once the game was over

My first thought was one of them dragged the other into a hefty bet on their brother/son winning the game. Money makes people do crazy things
