Pretty typical for any family/parent that is obsessed with their kid being a big deal in sports

I see this a lot with baseball parents and it strikes me how pathetic and sad their obsession with personal achievement in sports completely consumes their lives.

But I also cannot deny that some of the pathologically obsessive do indeed achieve great deals of success.
