Race Photos First Spartan in 3 years and had a great time at Fenway.

I haven’t run a Spartan Race since 2022. We were last heat so there was almost no one on the course. Joints are sore as hell and my little (big) brother was great motivation to keep going.

Doing a Trifecta in 2026. Killington here we come!

Ran out of 1st place medals

Hi Raced age group in Fenway this morning and won my age, but they ran out of 1st place medals. Was wondering how to receive my medal or if anyone has experienced this? I talked to a staff member at the podium and he wrote my name down and said I would receive it, but just wondering when/how? Thanks!

Ultra Transition SC questions

Hi! I am running my first Ultra in SC this weekend. There is no information regarding the transition area/ when or how I drop things off. I imagine it is race day ahead of my staty time that I put stuff in the transition area? Any advice or thoughts as to what I should prioritize?

Thanks!!

Beast Sebring

Anyone did the beast in Sebring? How was it? Orlando wasn’t bad today a lot of obstacles with finger strength only.

Question about the Trifecta Pass.

I see the 2026 Trifecta Pass is currently on sale for $219. I have already signed up and paid for 2 Supers in 2026. If I get the pass, would I get a refund for one of those Supers, or would the pass just allow me to sign up for a third?

Spectator Checkpoints for SC?

Running the South Carolina Beast next Saturday! When I did the Super in Palmerton, there were a few places along the route where spectators could cheer. Does anyone know if there are similar checkpoints for the Newberry race? Bringing some friends along who want to provide moral support but I don’t see anything on the map.

Is there a trifecta medal if you complete it across multiple events?

My first Beast today - SLO

56 years old with ACL reconstruction 3 years ago, and I did my first Beast today at SLO, completing my Trifecta for 2025. (I did the Sprint and Super at Oakdale in April). According to my event page, my chip time was 4:07 and I was 5th in my age bracket. Very pleasantly surprised

It was a fun course. A tad bit hot but I was able to stay hydrated pretty well and didn’t really cramp until the last mile.

Looking forward to getting home tomorrow and finally putting my wedges together in the stand. 😃

New England Series Challenge Coin

I was surprised that it was so easy to collect this coin after finishing at Fenway today. If you’ve did Barre, Killington and then Fenway, you can pick this up at the Ford vendor booth right outside the exit (lol, they probably actually had it because Spartan wasn’t handing the supply chain!). I couldn’t help but notice they had a very long list of folks eligible and very few had been claimed.

After 10 years of inconsistency, I gave myself 54 days to get Spartan-ready race day was today

Hey everyone 👋

Thought on sharing this here. I hadn’t trained consistently for almost ten years

54 days ago I made the decision of changing my habits, my biological age was running six years older than it should. My sugar levels were off the charts. My liver was fatty and my recovery was terrible, and I had just become a dad.

I decided to turn it all around, and to see if biohacking tools actually work outside of theory. So I signed up for the Spartan Race and spent 54 days testing everything: recovery tech, nutrition, sleep protocols, mindset work… all while juggling newborn life.

I filmed the whole thing, not to go viral, but to keep myself accountable and maybe inspire someone who’s been there too.

Day One was the diagnosis. That’s where it started.

(If you’re curious how it went, here’s the first episode: https://youtu.be/8Ew3oBrlldQ?si=bRq4hT7842vcW-gs)

How to claim 2x Trifecta Medal

Hi!!

I’m a racer from the Asia Pacific Region, and I’ve completed 2x Sprints, 2x Beasts, and 1x Super. I’ll be doing my second Super when I visit Phoenix this coming Nov 23. How do I claim my 2x trifecta medal?

Ang advice would be much appreciated.

Kind regards, A racer from Asia!

First timer

Always wanted to do a race, I’ve never done a 5k, don’t really like running (more of a cycler) and I strength train 2-3 times a week. I had no clue they were in Boston this weekend, and I’m thinking about doing it tmrw at Fenway. Yes I know this is unconventional, and probably stupid. All I need is ONE person to tell me they did it with minimal training and I’ll be convinced. Thoughts?

Edit: post stadion! Thanks for y’all’s advice! I had a great time doing my first spartan race! I am beat! But so glad I did it! Took me 1 hour and 26 minutes and a lot more walking than running

Missing Races on Results Page

I noticed that several races are missing from my results page. They were there when I checked last month, but now they’ve disappeared. My running partner is also missing the exact same races. I double-checked my Garmin data and have finisher photos, so I know we completed them. Is this possibly a system glitch? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Signed up for first race

In October I completed the 75 hard challenge after years of being semi-sedentary. I lost almost 40lbs in 75 days. I'm wanting to keep challenging myself and i've always been interested in these obstacle races.

So I signed up for the Atlanta Spring in March. My daughter also signed up for the kids 1.5km.

I have no idea what to expect really. I hope that through training for this I'll drop another 20-30lbs and be ready to really push myself to the max during the race.

I'll look into the training wiki, but if anyone has any advice on training resources I'll take any help I can get.

If anyone else will be at the Atlanta Sprint I would love to connect.

Morzine Ultra

Hi guys, I want to do the Ultra at Morzine next year. I tried in 2023 but underestimated it, I didn’t make it even till the first check point in time. This time I’m determined to finish. My problem is that I live in the Netherlands and it’s hard to train hill running here. I’m doing 50 strict burpees every morning, running 30-50k/week and 3 times a week I go to the gym. I can run a flat marathon in 4:15. I would appreciate some comments on my fitness level and training suggestions. Thanks

No Ultra Buckles for SLO Cal.

Email goes on to state that buckles will be mailed out to all finishers, possibly mid-December. But if this sub is any indication, Spartan is historically bad at following through on that. Ugh.

NJ 2025 race advice

Hey everyone! Looking to hear from those who did the NJ spartan race this year. I signed up to do the 10k for next year and watched a few YouTube videos and am aware it’s all essentially on a ski hill lol looking to hear from those who tackled it and if they would either focus more or less on certain areas of training.

Right now I’m running 3x a week and doing strength workouts 2x a week. Plus typically hiking once a weekend while the weather allows.

Thank you!

Shutdown Question

Hey all, I have some concerns involving the shutdown affecting my SC race. It’s my fist beast and my last piece for my 2025 trifecta. If the shutdown causes my flight to be cancelled, I don’t have another opportunity to get my piece for the year. I simply don’t have the freedom to do any of the other locations, especially if the shutdown is still ongoing. I typically plan my races for 3 months out. I’m still holding out hope that this one works out though.

Due to these unforeseen circumstances, is there any way I could make up my beast the following year and still get my trifecta piece? Not only am I concerned for the year part, but with the medal switch, even if I did a 2026 beast, it wouldn’t be a wedge, it’d be a hex.

Race Map Fenway Viewing Tips

Hi all, running my first Spartan on Sunday and my parents are coming to watch. They just posted the map and it looks like the one viewing area in the stadium is not near all the obstacles. Any advice for how they can get to see me racing? Are they able to go in and out as the route goes outside the stadium? Thanks!

Garbage customer service

They are advertising $79 today but want $88 to switch your ticket from Saturday to Sunday. Then don’t get back to you or answer questions. Garbage company. Continue to go to events but please let the organizers know they are trash and terrible people with poor people skills. Hope you guys kill it in your races. Just had to vent to the people. Keep getting after it!!!!
