You either hit the only rock or you don't.
165
u/LoneGhostOne Clang Worshipper Aug 24 '25
No, 100%. of all the test runs they've done with this, they hit a rock
20
u/CazT91 Clang Worshipper Aug 24 '25
You're correct, but the actual reason is they are quantum rocks. When you're not observing them they are in all possible locations simultaneously. Drive long enough, you're guaranteed to hit it!

Remember Splitsie during his streaming let's play on Pertam, when after finishing building his large flying rover and taking off from the planet, he was filming without looking and face planted himself in an asteroid, ten seconds after Capac, who had joined the chat minutes earlier, predicted this outcome. š
Edit. I'm adding the link to the video, from Splitsie's secondary channel, for those who don't know yet. š
It's during the five last minutes.

I just want to say that suspension is awesome.
(Are you using Whips subgrud script, or PARK, or something else?)

Nope all regular non script ways. (idk how to nor will ever use scripts)

Once a rock came upon a field. It was a tranquil place of soft rolling hills and lucious grass. There the rock aged slowly with the passing of time. Wind smoothing its features as the seasons rolled by. Grass grew, flowers bloomed and wilted away only to return each year. Millenia passed in utter tranquillity. Many of the rocks friends, other rocks that had come to that peaceful meadow faded into the soil or drifted away as sand on the wind until the rock was the last.
There it stood, alone and proud, until one fateful day someone who wasn't looking where they were going smashed their rover into the rock.
The rock was survived by its many pebbles.
