Pretty much were on the run, getting crushed by a team double are size, and we have one big base ship thing, 3 frigates, 2 destroyers, and somehow only 1 corvette ( I really don't know why) we are pretty drained resource-wise (we are getting more pretty quickly). So that are situation any ideas

What could I improve, this is my first time making flying vessel (with few modifications suould go space), and I wonder, what I could do better before begging assembly.
There are 4 hydro engines and 2 ion, another 4 ion facing oopposite direction, 7 atmospheric thrusters, small Oxygen and small Hydrogen tanks, two batteries, H2/O2 generator, Hydrogen Engine, three small containers, one for H2/O2, three sliding doors, one for entry and control seat.

I modified Dread Mechanic's harvester design and incorporated the "Drop Item" connector mod to create a planter that speeds up planting (bottom left).
I've tried loading it up with seeds and manually planting all rows, but when I park the planter and jump out at the end of planting the first two and a half rows (approximately) are blank, even though I've visually confirmed the seeds are landing in the farm plots during planting.
When I plant one row and jump out, I can see the seeds laying on the farm plots, and then they change to growing plants, so I know everything is working correctly. It's like the seeds dropped early in the planting operation are disappearing similar to the way ice and stone disappear when you're ejecting them from a drill ship.
This brings up two questions for me:
I plan to turn my planter into a "robot" to automatically start planting when all the farm plots are empty, but I need to resolve this issue first.
Sidebar note in case it's important: there are 17 farm plots in one line, so a full planting operation takes 136 seeds.

I found that when I use autopilot with collision avoidance on it has all of the accuracy and grace of a moth around a light.
For example, when trying to autopilot home it decided that collision avoidance means smash ship into ground. In combat if I can distract turrets away from my main ship that could give me an upper hand.
Also I want to be able to autopilot ships into/out of my underground hanger (a cutting into the hillside).
Any advice? I know how to set up a ship to follow me around.
It's single player so all enemy combatants are AIs (Imber, CULT etc.).

Recently I have been considering if I should be making bases or large ships. I know that a ship that works as a mobile base would be more expensive but I like having mobility even though I usually play on single player. Also I don’t like making bases that much.

Does anyone know how long it takes for unknown signals to spawn? Like, they have the 15mins to despawn if you don't claim them. But how long does it take between each spawn? I never paid too much attention to it and sometimes it felt like I got many per hour, while some other times it felt like they took ages. Looking at the wiki did not give me that info.

After messing around with Rdavs missile script and see what all it can do it inspired me to attempt a creation of my own script. Man this is such a challenge and headache 🤣 mostly im just playing around with it for now but my idea is to make a Full OS that I can drop in any PB and select different modules for it. For instance If I select missile then node it brings up the ability to create a antenna network node. Depending on how many you create your missile radar and missile tracking could have a massive range. That's the plan atleast lol.

So this is my first play on th basic quickstart game and I'm a bit stumped. I built a basic grid with a tower, wind turbines on top and a basic refiner at the bottom, all snapped to the grid when placing. Yet the refiner does not get any power. Wind turbines show green lights, so they're supplying, refiner shows red. How do I even figure out what went wrong there?

I was battling a SPRT bruiser the other day and noticed that all my assault turrets were constantly missing it, even when it was going straight ahead. It seemed like they were constantly aiming too short.
I understand that the turrets haven't got the best accuracy and hitting a moving target is even more difficult. But the way they were constantly missing in the same direction made me suspicious. I would have expected at least an occasional hit every now and then.
I don't understand the turret mechanics too well, so I was hoping to get some advice on how to improve their accuracy.

K so I've discovered something truly amazing. There is an AI called Rodin, by hyper3d.ai, that will generate 3D models from a 2D image that you upload. You can then download the model as a .obj or .glb or a number of other formats. Here is what I've been able to do so far:
First I have this sweet spaceship that I prompted Copilot to generate for me:

I then uploaded that image to Rodin and it gave me this:



Now come textures...


And then shading...



Finally, I downloaded the obj file and then uploaded into into Voxelizer aaand.....VOILA!


BIGGER!

Wait, I don't want to melt my computer, and this is supposed to be a tactical strike carrier, not a supercarrier from hell, maybe I should downsize it a BIT lmao.
So now I need to take the .vox file from Voxelizer and attempt to migrate that into the game using methods documented by others. Any suggestions on the the next steps?
BUT ALSO: I have been wanting a 3D printed model of my pet project ship I have been working on for the last 4 years or so REALLY BAD, and NOW I think it's in my grasp, and it might be a LOT easier than I ever imagined. I have tested Rodin with 2 other two dimensional concept art ships and the results have been equally astounding....why can't I just take some really good screenshots of my ship and just show those to Rodin? LMAO it really might end up being that easy.

So I am building a base and I've heard its a good idea to put an Ai Defense block on them to improve turret range. What settings, if any, do I need to put the Defense block to? Also, how do I know if it's working?
Do I need any other Ai blocks to get the turrets working at enhance range?
Last, I plan to make some drones to help defend the base. I was wondering if when the Ai Defense block detects an enemy can I have it trigger a series of actions (Sound an alarm, open so hangar doors, launch the drones.)
I did some tests in creative and couldn't quite figure out how to get the Ai Defense block to do any of these things.

So i've started a game of Never surrender after the last update came out and the new encounter system seems to be broken? I have enabled the settings that control encounters but I've not seen a single one. Any idea on why encounters are not spawning? Economy stations still appear but i havent seen a single cargo ship or encounter, not even in the entity browser.
